Welcome to the Garden Club of Lake Ridge website!

As a Garden Club, we offer educational programs and field trips, participate in community outreach activities and promote environmental responsibility through our programs and projects. We participate in a wide range of community projects including the Chinn Park Children's Garden, youth/scouting education, plant sales, community food drives, local beautification projects and bringing cheer to community seniors and others with floral/nature projects..

The Garden Club of Lake Ridge maintains membership in the National Garden Clubs, Inc. As a member, our Club has access to a wide variety of educational, beautification, social and service projects, as well as programs, publications and resource materials.

Native Plants for Sun and Shade
May 6, 2024, 7 PM
Come join the GCLR and learn about Native plants for sun and shade. Gardens can be complicated and take time to learn. Your garden can be mixed with sunny and shady spots making planting tricky. Trees, bushes, fences, etc., can create shade in a once sunny location. Come hear Alice Sturm from PLA Nature Forward discuss how/where to use the right Native plant for the right location.
