The Garden Club of Lake Ridge celebrated the end of the program year with a Garden Party! This was the first in person meeting due to the pandemic restrictions and the members were ready to party! The Tall Oaks Community Center and outdoor grounds were decorated with festive lights and there were plenty of cool refreshing ice creams, wraps and drinks for everyone. Doris Watson, President, conducted an induction of officers ceremony filled with fresh flowers and many words of wisdom from her two years of dedication to the President position. This was just the start of the Garden Party!
Members gathered around to do floral arrangements with fresh seasonal flowers that were donated to ACTS for The Beverly Warren Emergency Shelter and Safe Houses. There was also a Plant Swap where members could bring any extra plants, gently used garden tools or books. Many of us took home a treasure from another.
Please enjoy the video link below that highlights all the fun and fellowship that is always a part of the Garden Club of Lake Ridge.
